Kickoff Mixer – Event Recap
On September 18th, we gathered a close-knit group of MWBEs, business leaders, and community partners at 500 Pearl for our Boots on the Ground Kickoff Mixer.
While Buffalo was tuned into the Bills game 🏈, those in the room leaned all the way in, pitching their businesses, networking with purpose, and showing off their best boots.
It reminded us that real impact is about connection, visibility, and momentum.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
Pitch Contest
Small businesses drove in from Rochester, NY to join the pitch contest and connect with Buffalo MWBEs.
New and nervous entrepreneurs stepped up to pitch their businesses for the very first time, proving courage builds community.
Best Boots Contest
Buffalo brought the style, steel toes to stilettos. One lucky lady walked away with the Trophy!
