• Tools, templates, systems, examples

• Walkthroughs of real scenarios (THIS is what makes it valuable)

Hands-On / Application Participants actually work on something, for example:

• Pulling a bid together

• Drafting a capability statement

• Working on pricing or estimates

• Identifying funding sources

• Building an SOP

• Reviewing a vendor portal (Whatever fits the topic)

You may reference your company and expertise as it relates to the training, but this is not a sales pitch. The focus should remain on delivering value to attendees.

Business casual or professional attire. MWBEs come from all industries (construction, professional services, beauty, healthcare, etc.), so we encourage you to be professional yet approachable.

We ask that all cancellations be made, prior to 7 days before the event and a replacement is to be given.

All attendees should be respectful and attentive and add value, not take away from your training. Should you have any issue, please let us know.

We accept experienced professionals, entrepreneurs, contractors, developers, consultants, and subject-matter experts with relevant experience. You do not need to be a certified MWBE to apply — what matters most is that your teaching is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable for business owners.

No. Experience is helpful, but not required. We are looking for trainers who teach with clarity, authenticity, and real-world expertise, not sales pitches or motivation without strategy. There will be a remote session set up, prior to the training and it is mandatory. This prevents nervousness and allows for cohesiveness.

Bootcamps are primarily in person, with virtual options available for select topics. Location details are provided after facilitator selection.

Applications are reviewed based on topic relevance, experience, teaching style, and alignment with the mission of capacity, collaboration, and legacy for diverse businesses. Selection does not reflect worth; only scheduling and subject alignment.

Bootcamp facilitators are notified after final track planning is complete. Notification will be sent by email.

Yes — you can apply again each year or update your application as your experience evolves.
